Metronidazole USP 5mg/ml (ISOTONIC)
INDICATIONS
Used in the treatment of susceptible life-threatening infections particularly when oral medications can not be retained.
It is also given in the prevention of post-operative infections due to anaerobic bacteria and in the treatment of amoebic abscess of the liver and in moribund or toxic cases of fulminating intestine.
