Zoletil 100 Injection (Zolazepam and Tilpenam)
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
- Tiletamine (as Hydrochloride) 50mg
- Zolazepam (as Hydrochloride) 50mg
INDICATION
An anaesthetic agent for diagnostic and surgical procedures where muscle relaxation is not required.
DOSAGE
For intravenous and intramuscular only. Single, deep intramuscular injection of Zoletil for Injection in cats and dogs, onset of anaesthetic effect usually occurs within 5 to 12 minutes. Muscle relaxation is optimum for approximately the first 20 to 25 minutes after Zoletil for Injection is administered, and then diminishes.
REMARKS
Shelf life after reconstitution: 24 hours.
Contraindicated in dogs and cats with pancreatic disease and severe cardiac or pulmonary dysfunction. The use for Caesarean section is also contraindicated.
