Pen & Strep Injection – 100ml (PENICILLIN, STREPTOMYCIN)
For the treatment of infections in cattle, horses, pigs, and sheep caused by or associated with organisms sensitive to penicillin and/or streptomycin.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
- Procaine Penicillin 200mg
- Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate 250mg
- Hydroxybenzoate esters (as nipasept sodium) 1.5mg (as antimicrobial preservatives)
- Sodium formaldehyde sulphoxylate dihydrate 1.25mg (as antioxidants)
DOSAGE
1ml per 25kg of body weight for up to 3 consecutive days.
Maximum dose per administration site should not exceed:
15ml for horses, 6ml for cattle, 3ml for sheep and 1.5ml for pigs.
REMARKS
Storage Condition: Store between 2-8°C (cold temperature)
Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Shelf life after first opening: 28 days.
Withdrawal period:-
Sheep: Meat 31 days and not to be used in sheep producing milk for human consumption.
Cattle: Meat 23 days and Milk 60 hours (milk for human consumption should not be taken during treatment.
Pigs: Meat 18 days.
Horses: Not to be used in horses intended for human consumption. Treated horses may never be slaughtered for human consumption.
